It’s time for another celebratory blog post! This time, we’d like to introduce and celebrate two incredibly talented student writers, Shelby Park and Dayna de Bruin-Adcock.
Shelby Park from Morrinsville College placed 1st in the Year 9-10 category of the 2023 Stylefit Writing Competition with her incredible story, No Precious Cargo. You can read it right here. Shelby received a fantastic novel sponsored by the lovely Matakana Bookshop, as well as a very exciting VR Experience opportunity!
Dayna de Bruin-Adcock from Whangārei Girls’ High School placed 2nd in the same category with her amazing story, Time Froze, which you can read right here. Dayna received a MOTAT voucher, as well as a novel by this category’s judge, Bronwyn Elsmore!
Congratulations to these wonderfully talented writers on their achievements and prizes, and we hope to see their writing again in our 2024 Student Writing Competition!
