Our 2022 Student Writing Competition Winners Series continued!
This week we celebrate Maggie Bonis from Papamoa College, who won First Place in the Year 11-13 writing category. Maggie’s wonderfully crafted short story ‘The siren’s song – a symphony for the land and sea’ was awarded first place by poet and judge Johanna Emeney. Maggie received the book ‘Felt’ by Johanna Emeney, as well as a Gold Media Hoodie and a novel from the wonderful Matakana Book Store, as her prize!
